Welcome

Milo is our little security guard, and one of the sweetest dogs you'd ever meet. He is about 8 years old and is half chihuahua, half poodle weighing in at about 8 lbs. He has a passion for chasing lizards and other small creatures, though he is always gentle. He just wants to give them a boop and a sniff or two. 

Sammie might be one of the coolest cats there is. She has a very unique personality, and is just as sweet as can be. She is an avid hunter of lizards and moles, and even chases the occasional chicken. It has been just over a year since she joined the family, and her and Milo have really become great friends. 

Henry the rooster is our favorite wake up call now. He rises early and lets all the ladies know he is the coolest rooster around with the his little dance and his stylish feather pants. A gentleman at heart, Henry will join his ladies when they return to the coop to lay an egg and keep them company.  He even shares the best bugs he finds while foraging.

Dolly was named after Dolly Parton for obvious reasons… she has a great personality! She is one of Henry’s girls, and she is the most consistent egg layer.

Lucy is quite the character and not afraid of much of anything. Always the first in line for snack time, she will eat out of your hand and even snatch a gnat off of your toes if you stand still long enough. She is one of Henry's main ladies and consistently contributes to the farm with eggs and entertainment. 

Sally rounds out Henry’s crew.  Her beauty is unmistakeable and that is one of the reasons we chose to name Sally after Tony’s mother and Jessi’s grandmother.

Marilyn is named after Marilyn Monroe for her beautiful “platinum” looks. She is one of the five younger lavender orpingtons.

We named Betty after Betty White. Not only because she is white. She is funny, as well.

Vickie is named after our sweet mail carrier with beautiful black hair. She is a beauty.

J.J. and Berta are named after Jessi’s father and mother. They have great personalities and they are always together exploring the property and swimming in the pool.

June is one of our first ducks, and one of our favorites. She has become like a big sister to the new ducks, showing them around and making them feel comfortable.

B.J. is tiny, but mighty. Probably the cutest little rooster we've ever seen. He is quite the escape artist, squeezing though chainlink kennels and even flying over the 7ft fence.
