HOMESTEADING ON A BUDGET

Our Story

Jessi had been looking for a Homestead type property for years. Although she was living in Florida at the time, she decided to look in Georgia where her family roots are. She found the property she had always dreamed about.

Right after she signed the contract, she posted her excitement in the Live the Off Grid Dream Facebook group.

That same day Tony (they did not know each other and had never had any previous contact) sent her a private message asking if she was looking for a property caretaker. He explained his passion for Permaculture, gardening, and organic living, and added that he had 6 1/2 years of property management experience.

They had their first phone conversation that day December 31, 2022.

Just 2 1/2 months later, on February 15, 2023, Jessi closed on the property and Jessi and Tony started their homesteading journey, from different perspectives.

They both want to encourage everyone to believe

that everything is possible.
